Welcome to the Ron Gill website.
I hope the time you spend here will be rewarding and informative. I wear many hats in my life. Not just as a jazz singer but as an on-air radio producer, an artist, art director and graphic designer. I strongly believe that artists should express themselves in as many areas that pertain to them and the community around them. I intend to voice my opinion at times, and am willing to share my thoughts and ideas, and if possible with an open mind. Many things are changing all around us. Technology has made it so that things change minute by minute. Sometimes it’s hard to keep focused. Our thoughts and ideas and values are constantly challenged and it’s difficult to take a hard look even at yourself to know where you stand on issues confronting you.I will admit that at times I can be shortsighted, and therefore will be happy to open my e-mail here to receive your views as well, either in agreement or disagreement. As long, of course, that we can agree to disagree. Fair enough? While I wish to use the site as a vehicle to express myself in as many areas of my life that makes me who I am, I do intend to use the site as a way of informing what I am doing and thinking musically. Here you should be able to find stories, bios, information and updates regarding myself, members of my band, and others who I may mentor, and who need a place where others may find them and learn about them.
